Update on CTC’s COVID-19 Food Relief Effort in the Mullaitivu District, Sri Lanka

On Wednesday, April 8th, 100 families in two DS divisions of the Mullaitivu district (Thunukkai and Manthai East) received food relief packages.

Earlier on Monday, April 6th, distribution of 150 packages were completed in three DS divisions in the Mullaitivu district, namely Maritimepattu, Oddusuddan and Puthukudiyiruppu, reaching about 50 families in each division.

A total of 250 families in the Mullaitivu district have received food relief packages, each package valued at Sri Lankan Rupees 1000. Each food package contains the following items Rice (Red) 5 kg, 1 kg Sugar, 1 kg Lentils, 100 grams Tea and 3 Soap bars.
