Update on CTC’s COVID-19 Food Relief Effort in the Vavuniya District, Sri Lanka

April 7, 2020 Update.

On Tuesday, April 7^th, food relief packages were distributed to 92 of the most vulnerable families in Vilakkuvaithakulam, Mahilankulam and Puthiyavelarsinnakkulam villages in the Vavuniya DS Division. These efforts in Vavuniya districts are organized on the ground by the North and East Economic Development (NEED) Centre.

Earlier on Sunday April 5^th, 50 identified families received food relief in Neeliyamoddai village which comes under Vengalacheddikulam Divisional Secretariat (DS) Division in the Vavuniya District. These food relief efforts in the Vavuniya district will be continuing in the coming days.
